Teachers are doing their best, but they're expected to support a wide range of learners without consistent training to do it well.
Accommodations are written but not reaching the classroom. Timelines are slipping. Families are losing trust. And the gap between what's required and what's happening keeps growing. Good intentions aren't legally defensible.
For families navigating IEPs, 504s and school systems. We help you understand what your child needs, prepare for every meeting, and stop fighting alone.
For schools and districts. Build legally sound inclusive systems with Inclusion in Action, or transform instruction with Full STEAM ahead.
Hands-on STEM and SEL programs for curious learners. Wonder Lab and Camp Character, after school, summer and homeschool options.
With over 20 years as a teacher, principal, and advocate, I've seen what happens when systems work, and when they don't. I've sat in thousands of IEP meetings. Led the teams. Supported the students who were overlooked. And sat on the other side of the table as a parent.
That's why this work looks different. I'm not just an advocate who helps families navigate schools. And I'm not just a consultant who trains districts. I'm the person who understands both sides - which means I know exactly where the breakdown happens, and how to close the gap.
"My advocacy work doesn't fight schools, it help families and schools find the same answer. A child who gets what they need. A system that actually works. That's the outcome I build toward, from every side of the table."
-Jennifer Hunter, The Learning Project
Jenn has been instrumental in not only navigating and advocating the challenges within the school system but also in finding alternative learning solutions for our son. Not every child fits into a “box” and Jenn recognizes that. She and has suggested a few different avenues to approach learning with our eight year old and were easily incorporated into our daily schedule. As easy as these ideas were, without Jenn I would’ve never found these avenues so I appreciate her immensely!

Jennifer has been a tremendous help to us on several occasions for our child's school IEP meeting. We always feel unsure of what to expect and ask for in the meetings, so having her professional guidance is so reassuring. She's also offered great ideas for accommodations that school staff hadn't considered. Having her assistance was a major relief!
